Come upstairs! For the second part of the tour of this vacation home in Lonavala, we’re taking you to the first floor to see each bedroom, starting with the largest.

The Master Bedroom

With stunning floor-to-ceiling views of the arid hillside, the master bedroom just needed simple styling for the landscape to shine through. A classic palette of creams and golds elevated with greens bring the outside inside in an airy, elegant way. When decorating with a view like this, it helps to bring the two together by picking colors off the landscape and incorporating them as accents in the soft furnishings, artwork, and accessories!

A small geometric bench and marble-topped table besides the window create a snug spot for morning coffee - or anytime, really! Behind the bed, a lively abstract painting in shaded greens adds a sense of dynamism to an otherwise soothing space.

Keeping with the contemporary theme of the house, this bedroom reflects a love for travel with a stack of vintage trunks, collection of photographs from family trips, and various cultural artefacts. A combination of hard and soft elements, such as dark wood furniture and geometric lines with warm, latte-toned walls and layered bedding, create a contrast that’s simultaneously sleek and inviting.

Unsual accessories such as a contemporary artorial vase, resin horns, and vintage books form the cornerstone of this room. On the far side, a trio of delicate gold discs with blue quartz centers are a luxe artistic detail. Hung next to a handmade grey vase with pink flowers, they make an eye-catching vignette!

Decorated for a lover all things pink, this young girl’s bedroom was given the ultra-plush treatment with pink walls and curtains, a tufted ottaman at the foot of the bed, shaggy pillows, and chic art d’objets. Our favorite touch? The whimsical ceramic and gold wall art that creates a dreamy botanical backdrop!

With a deck like this, the outdoors was meant to be an entertainment space! Two bright blue loungers on the left invite some serious sun-soaking, while the shaded pod on the right can be opened out into multiple seperate sitting areas for larger conversations. To allow people to walk around freely, we accessorized the area with a ceramic flower-filled vase, some terrazo planters with greenery, and large candle stands for creating a mood at sundown!
