Our first tablescape follows a gold theme that delivers high glamour. At each place setting, stacked white and gold patterned plates rest on gold tablemats with gold tipped cutlery and embellished gold napkins. For the centerpiece, we brought the gold forward with two decorative gold leaves placed between bowls of red and white roses - a classic floral combination for formal occasions! While the white roses match the white plates, two crystal bowls on either side of the table hold red rose petals. A neutral runner allows these centerpiece elements to stand out and shine!

When decorating a table like this, don’t be afraid to mix and match different accessories, as long as they stay within the color scheme! Our table uses a combination of porcelain, crystal, and glass and brings in lots of little elements such as tea light holders and gold mesh balls for detail. To finish, print individual Diwali menus on special card to add a layer of intimacy and make your guests feel truly special!

Our second look is vibrantly festive with traditional Diwali colors. Bursts of yellows, oranges, and playful patterns make this setting good for day and night! When using color and pattern, think about where you want those moments to be - whether its in your tableware or your textiles - and make them your focus. Here, printed orange plates have been paired with white charger plates, gold cutlery, and crystal glassware. Candles and cluster of marigolds at each setting are nice decorative details that help set the mood. Of course, no table is complete without flowers, and in addition to filling vases with balls of marigolds, we also created a woven gajra runner that tumbles out of one!

This cheerful tablespace is all about putting different elements together to create moments of fun and joy. Colorful glasses can hold tealights or napkins, flowers can be strewn over the table, glass cloches can be used to hold flowers instead of cakes… Regardless of the theme, experiment with color combinations and dramatic textures. Bring in accessories that feel personal, such as heirloom pieces or interesting things around your house. Your table doesn’t have to shout perfection, but it should feel celebratory!
